Family & Fathering @North East (FINE)
In line with the national “Dads for Life” movement, the NE Community Development Council (CDC)
officially launched the two-year
long Family
& Fathering @ North East (FINE) initiative in the North East
district on 29th May 2010. This initiative is designed to help
families and fathers, specifically, learn the importance of being an actively
involved dad, as well as to learn creative and effective strategies for staying
involved in the lives of their children.

EMCC Active Fathering Workshop Series
The
EMCC Active Fathering Workshop Series
is designed to equip fathers with parenting skills.
Each 2.5 hour fathering
workshop provides proven, effective skills for healthy family
relationships and
child development.
(Mums are
also welcome to learn and provide the dads with the understanding and
support in their parenting
adventure together.)
