- Celebrates its 10th Anniversary with the theme ‘Peacemaking – Starting with me and my home’.
- Public talk which was supported by MCYS for married and to-be-married couples – ‘EMCC Couples Evening: Men Make The Difference; Women Keep It Interesting!’ (Speakers: Dr Clifford & Mrs Joyce Penner, world-renowned sex therapists & marriage counsellors from the USA).
- A 4-day EMCC Certification Seminar on Counselling – Counselling For Sexual Disorders (Trainers: Dr Clifford & Mrs Joyce Penner).
- An ACR-Approved 40 hour Mediation Training – EMCC Certification Seminar on Mediation – Mediating Family Dispute (Trainer: Mr Jim Melamed, Award-winning and one of the most experienced Family & Divorce Mediator).

- The strategising of PeaceP.A.C.T as a holistic and integrative approach for the restructured suite of EMCC service offerings to more effectively foster and meet clients’ needs for relational wellness.
- Participated in the nationwide Employee Wellness Programme launched by the Health Promotion Board – achieved an outreach of 10,000 individuals from the community and about 100 corporate organisations, with messages pertaining to psycho-emotional wellness.
- Achieved a 200% increase of counselling caseload over the past year.

| 2001 – 2007 |
- Launch of the Peacemaking training initiative to foster peace within families and the community. The initiative aims to equip people with the competence to manage conflicts at home, at work, as well as in other settings.
- Reached out to 900 individuals in 2007, of which 42% are through our counselling and mediation services, and 58% from other training and development programmes.
- Pioneered family mediation training in Singapore and Asian cities.
- Involved in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), the Ministry of Law.
- Involved in divorce cases within the Family Court.
- Secured school-based counselling at the National Junior College (NJC).
- Involved in mediation at the Tribunal of Maintenance of Parents, and the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS).
