EMCC Integrated Conflict Management Suite
The EMCC Integrative Conflict Management Suite is a key PeaceP.A.C.T component specially designed to fulfil the organisation’s vision to bring hope to relationships. PeaceP.A.C.T was launched in mid 2007 to pave the way for peacemaking – through effective conflict intervention, as a way of life involving the various sets of relationships we have – between leaders and followers, parents and teens, with siblings, couples, in-laws, colleagues, neighbours, etc. Through a holistic range of learning programmes, resource support, and mediation and counselling services, EMCC’s Integrative Conflict Management Suite seeks to inculcate a peacemaking mindset in every individual by rekindling his/her commitment to peace – through constant reflection, the retooling of conflict intervening skills, reconciling strained relationships and resolving disputes– thus fostering a peacemaking culture within the family and the community.

Conflict Management Training
Programme Objective
The EMCC Conflict Management Training comprises a suite of relationship enhancing courses for leaders and members of the community, parents, teenagers, teachers and principals, and practically any individual. The programmes are specially designed to effectively enable individuals to learn conflict intervention skills to help them build bridges in and within their different arenas of home, school, workplace and neighbourhood.
Objectives & Outcomes
- To effect peace in relationships through the effective management of conflict, which is an inevitable fact of life, whether in the school setting, the home, the workplace or any grouping.
- Inculcate a new conflict mindset that positively views conflicts, at the same time equip participants with effective skill-set to transform conflict into opportunity
- Instil a renewed confidence to effectively manage conflicts and bring hope to relationships
- Retool skills in conflict management, reconciling strained relationships, and recovery from conflict.
Programme Distinctiveness
- The courses form a suite of upstream preventive and developmental learning programs in conflict intervention.
- The programs are experiential-oriented, skill-based, research-based and are led by competent and accomplished trainers.
- They are integrated with skill-based training, web-based supplement, consultancy by experienced personnel and professional counselling and mediation support.

Mediation Advocacy Training
As a leading organisation offering mediation training and mediation services, EMCC has served the community for a number of years, not least by providing top quality mediators. The success of the initial programme has prompted EMCC to establish the Mediation Practitioner Programme with the aim to increase the pool of highly proficient mediators in Singapore.
