Train-the-Trainer: The Conflict Toolkit – how to intervene effectively
- Suitable for those in leadership positions who desire to train others to effectively manage conflicts. Also suitable for in-house trainers of organisations.
- Duration: 2+1 days (Option: available too as a 2-day programme for those who desire a more in-depth learning but do not wish to become trainers)
- This programme is targeted at those who are in the capacity to train and inspire others to manage conflicts, recover from conflicts and bring peace into relationships.
- Equips participants with skills in problem solving, conflict management and conflict recovery.

- Assist others to recover and to seek professional help in counselling and mediation, when necessary.
- Receive certification (see process below) to be a trainer of the “Conflict Engagement” workshop.
Who should attend
For those in leadership positions – heads and administrators of family service centres, community leaders, church / ministry / cell leaders, parents, teachers, managers and all those aspiring to be trainers.
Training Structure
- There will be one or two trainers delivering the content and facilitating the activities.
- Participants may be put into groups of 5-6 for some segments of the program.
The Train - The - Trainers T3 Certification Program
All participants will need to be certified by EMCC before they are ready to be trainers in their own organisations. To be certified, trainers will be assessed during the training during role plays and mini presentations at the ‘The Conflict Toolkit' workshop
- Obtain a “pass” on a written assignment which will include a personal statement about peacemaking and / or conflict management (300 words) to be submitted within 2 weeks of attending the workshop.
