be pleased to answer any questions you may have, to tell you in

Fees
The standard fee for counseling is $100 per session (1 - 1.5 hours)
or $160 per session with a Senior Counselor. Clients with difficulty
paying the full fee may be granted subsidies based on gross income.
Special consideration is given if a client experiences exceptional
financial difficulties.
Length of Each Session
Each counseling session usually takes an hour to an hour and a half.
What to Expect
When you first call the Centre at 67888220, the Intake Administrator
will make a mutually suitable appointment for you if deemed suitable.
Otherwise, a referral for another service provider may be made.
When you arrive at the Centre for your first visit, you will receive
some forms that need to be completed. This provides important information
to the Centre about your history, your family, and your current
concerns.
When you first meet with a Counselor, he or she will ask you about
your reasons for seeking help in order to understand how to be most
helpful. Some clients find it very reassuring just telling someone
what is going on. With your counselor, you will establish a treatment
plan that will inform the number of visits you will make to the
Centre. Where necessary, your counselor may refer you to a psychiatric
consultation or other therapeutic processes that will be beneficial
to you.
All the professional Counselors at the Centre are well qualified
with advanced degrees.
If you feel that you have any commendations or complaints, you may
contact the Centre at emcc@eagles.org.sg.
Confidentiality
Many people are understandably concerned about confidentiality when
they seek such services. We know that confidentiality is an essential
part of the trust necessary to effectively treat clients.
Please read the forms you are presented with on your first visit
in order to understand the legal limits of confidentiality. You
should discuss confidentiality with the Counselor you see if you
have any concerns.

Those of us who share in the life of the
church also share her conflicts. Conflicts are part of life - even
in the church. Sometimes, these conflicts become worrisome and intervention
from a third party may be necessary to help resolve them. Mediation
offers a safe environment where disputing parties could interact
with one another in a constructive way. What is mediation? How is
it different from the counseling process? How can we deal with conflict
to bring healing and reconciliation, instead of further hurt and
polarization?
